We'll help
make it easy for you to go GREEN!
A new Solar Store opens in
Massachusetts on Saturday, April 5, 2008
"Kelly Green" a new member of the Solar family
offers energy alternatives to homeowners and is set to open
in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts on Saturday, April 5, 2008.
Owner Martin Kelly invites customers to find out how to beat
high energy bills incorporating renewables like solar and
wind into the energy mix, and there are other innovative
savings too!
A long-time interest in renewable energy spurred Martin to
consider expanding his knowledge in the construction
business to work with area architects and developers to add
solar and wind components to private and commercial
buildings.
Martin has experience working with the construction of large
timbered buildings and log cabins for over twenty years and
he is a firm believer that there is no time to lose with
energy costs soaring and a need to look to the future. With
a fifteen-year old daughter already interested in the
environment Martin wants to assure that she and her
generation will have an affordable and clean future.
Education is the key to greener building Martin believes and
his plans to offer presentations and workshops will help
people save money on their energy bills in Massachusetts and
New Hampshire, improve their carbon footprint and lower CO2
output.
"Kelly Green" will first focus on conservation offering home
energy audits and environmentally-approved and non-toxic
insulation.
In addition to solar panels, evacuated tubes for PV hot
water systems and wind alternatives the store will carry
low-energy appliances, pellet stoves, and cost-saving CFL
and LED light bulbs
As the cost of running air conditioners during summer heat
becomes more expensive Martin anticipates that homeowners
will turn to solar- powered roof vents to cool attics.
Simple to install and inexpensive Martin enthusiastically
calls them an 'excellent invention.' The neighbors could
end up 'green' with envy!
Renewable energy and steps toward conservation will save
customers a
lot of their own 'green' dollars. Martin invites the
community to
embrace and participate in the Nationwide renewable energy
movement whenever they visit "Kelly Green".
